1.       Rainfall falls on most parcels of property throughout the world. Describe one method that could be used to collect this natural resource.
One thing you could do is have a gutter system and have it run into a collection tank have a filter system and you could use it for maybe drinking water or for appliances

2.  Describe an innovative construction method or technique that benefits the environment.
The reuse of old asphalt for shingles on houses is a good benefit because the old asphalt doesn’t go to a land fill so it doesn’t take up any space.

3.   During the construction cycle of the building, materials and components are delivered to the site. List a strategy that you will use to recycle the waste produced during the construction phase. 
If any of it can be burned without creating pollution then it could be burned as fire wood and if there are plastics then they can be recycled to a plastic plant

4.  Energy use is high in commercial buildings. What might a designer do to reduce energy consumption in a building?
What they could do in put sky windows in to bring more natural light in so the energy doesent need to be used on lighting.

5.   Building sites offer natural resources that can be utilized for the life of the building. Describe a method to use a site’s natural resources in the construction of the structure.        
If your construction area is close to a river you could use the water from it to mix concreat instead of having a water truck. Depending on what kind of materials are around you you could use some of them to help with the foundation or as supports.

Conclusion
Describe an original green and sustainable idea that you have. Choose one that is not currently in use as far as you know.
If I were to build a home I may put it close to a river to use it as a power source and you could put some solar panels on the roof. For heating there could be a geothermal system to where it gets heat from the earth.
Describe an improvement that you believe could be made to the building where you live. Describe why it is an improvement.
We could put up a wind mill so that we can gather power from the wind. Seeing how we live in a field there would be a lot of wind
